Doncaster Community Arts (darts) are looking for an experienced and driven individual to take the lead for the strategic development and management of darts’ Children and Young People programme.

darts makes high-quality, inclusive, creative experiences across the borough of Doncaster, open to everyone, in particular, those who have the least access to the arts. They are an Arts Council National Portfolio Organisation with a national funding portfolio drawn from a range of trusts & foundations, institutional funders and local commissioners.

Over the past five years darts have concentrated our efforts where they have the greatest impact, and where the local need is greatest: health and wellbeing for vulnerable adults; engagement and enrichment in primary education; and attainment and progression for Disabled children and young people.

darts are an experienced team of artists, makers, musicians, performers and support staff. They are a passionate, ambitious, hardworking and are looking forward to welcoming a new member of the team at this exciting time - someone with a genuine passion and understanding of the role that arts and creativity can play in children and young people’s development.  You must be able to work collaboratively and enjoy leading and supporting others.  darts want to work with someone who is friendly, approachable and inclusive.  You will be creative and innovative and be able to generate original ideas, manage and develop work that achieves specified outcomes and be able to communicate your vision to others.

For more information about the role, please contact Sophy Sylvester at sophy@wearedarts.org.uk, or 01302 341662.
